We are the incorporated chapter in North Carolina of the General Society of the Sons of the Revolution, head quartered at 201 W. Lexington Ave, Suite 1776, Independence, Missouri 64050-3718. Our headquarters are nominally in Southern Pines where our post office address is: Sons of the Revolution, P.O. Box 1261, Southern Pines, NC 28388, and a small office in Pinehurst. The chapter is governed by the conventional slate of officers consisting of president, vice-president (2-year term); secretary, treasurer, registrar, historian, chaplain, captain of the color guard, and chancellor; and a board of directors consisting of three classes with a staggered term of 3 years for business consistency. Although we are normally headquartered in Southern Pines, our officers and directors come from all over the state.
